Assassin's Creed Introduces Bizarre AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that defies usual predictions, Ubisoft has announced an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Disclosed
According to the formal statement, "An unusual confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where whispers of banned practices and terrifying changes resonate through the shadows." The narrative introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden cult.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Metamorphoses
The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Extra Material
Players who finish the mission will obtain an special katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

- Mikasa attire for Naoe

Third Free Story Addition
